The Boyd Law Library’s Scholarly Commons Records 1.9 Million Downloads

Since 2010 the Boyd Law Wiener-Rogers Law Library has made Boyd Law scholarship available to the public through its Scholarly Commons. By March 9, 2021, Boyd Law librarians had added 4,500 articles and other documents to the database, which have been downloaded more than 1.89 million times. The articles and documents are downloaded by readers from all over the world; you can see the locations of the downloads in real time on this page. Professor McClure Begins His Term As President of the Western Pacific Chapter of the American Association of Law Libraries

Thanks to Professor Jeanne Price, Director of the Wiener-Rogers Law Library, for sharing this update: “Professor David McClure, Associate Director of the Wiener-Rogers Law Library, has begun his term as President of WestPac, the Western Pacific Chapter of the American Association of Law Libraries. WestPac serves the states of Alaska, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming, as well as the U.S. Pacific Territories and the provinces of Western Canada. In lieu of the in-person annual meeting, WestPac online programming continues throughout the winter and spring with a focus on student engagement, collection services, and virtual education, all in the context of a pandemic.” Congratulations to Professor McClure on being elected WestPac’s President and thanks for his service to the law library community!
